The Compound

The Compound is a 57-acre special event center located two miles south of Round Top’s historic town square. Conceived and built by seasoned developer Mark Massey, who has third generation ties to Round Top. The project has been designed as a multi-purpose center to host myriad events, such as weddings, music events, conferences and more. Each facility, by appearance and design, feels indigenous to the landscape that surrounds it with barn-like construction features. To be surrounded by lush gardens, pathways, fountains and gazebos, the park-like setting connects each building to the other while delivering an overall atmosphere unlike anything else to be found in Fayette County. In the future, the Compound masterplan calls for additional venues that will host an even broader array of events both intimate and large.
