The wildly popular western wear brand recently announced that it is building a permanent, year-round storefront at Henkel Square– after several successful pop-ups during the Round Top Antiques & Design Show – and is scheduled to open their doors any day now, just in time for the Fall show!
“Kemo Sabe is high-end western chic, and I think it is perfect for Round Top’s Texas cool aesthetic,” Catherine exclaimed.
On a recent trip to Vail, Catherine stopped at Kemo Sabe’s location there and was immediately taken by its unique charm and its impeccable customer service. “My sales associate, Kenzie, offered me a drink upon arrival, and I of course took her up on the offer and got a spicy margarita (you can take the girl out of Texas but not Texas out of the girl). After trying on probably 20 different hats and finally finding the perfect style, we went into customization mode. Kenzie asked me what I like, and I told her I prefer neutral color tones. She then worked her magic and built my hat to perfection. I was obsessed on the spot, and I wore it every day in Vail during the rest of my trip. Oh, and it will definitely be part of my Houston Rodeo wardrobe inFebruary!”
Beyond the fully stocked bar and fabulously attentive sales associates at every Kemo Sabe outpost, what really sets the concept apart is its personalization down to the finest of details. Catherine’s custom hat includes her initials on the outside and a stamp of the State of Texas on the inside brim.
