Hotel Lulu’s main grounds house 14 rooms in 6 historic bungalows in addition to a fabulous restaurant, bar, pool and gardens.
Hotel Lulu’s property has been designed as an escape that encourages guests to slow down, recharge, and escape the buzz of the city. Hotel Lulu goes beyond the expected hotel amenities (which include complimentary Le Labo toiletries) with a beauty bar featuring 111Skin products and an art program curated by David Shelton Gallery that features emerging and established artists on a rotating basis. The hotel has also partnered with Houston - based and female - owned Studio Imli to create custom blankets with artisans in Cholistan Dessert in Pakistan. These handwoven blankets are traditionally passed down through generations and not commercially available, but Sanna Sahi, Studio Imli’s founder, wants to give these artisans a voice within the Western design world. Currently they are only available for purchase through Hotel Lulu. The bar on site, IL CUCULO — which means Cuckoo in Italian, transports guests into a hand - painted surreal jungle — a wraparound mural on the plaster walls created by Houston - based artist Andrea Condara
