Richard Schmidt Jewelry Design in Round Top is a showcase for native Texan Richard Schmidt, a craftsman who draws inspiration from the rich heritage and faith of his beautiful and wild homeland to create his one-of-a-kind jewelry. In college, Richard studied Geography and Art, taking many precious metals classes which sparked his interest in jewelry. Most of what he knows is self-taught, usually by trial and error which developed into his artistic style. In addition the shop carries a variety of art, home decor and clothing.
