Henkel Square Market

Henkel Square is an outdoor museum village, including eleven buildings, established in 1968 by Faith and Charles Bybee of Houston “to preserve and perpetuate an authentic representation of local Texas life as it was in the 19th century.” Renovated by the Massey family, Henkel Square has been reborn as a shopping, dining, bar-happy place, and gallery space that now goes by Henkel Square Market. The extensive and eclectic list of entities that populates one of the town's most popular tourist destinations includes Pop-A-Top Bottle Shop, Lyric Salon, Mallory et Cie, Little Cheese Shop, Melissa Ellis Fine Art, Southern Beasts, Sapana, Starr’z, Wimberly Inc, The Cabin by Wimberly, Royers Pie Haven, Ellis Motel, Humble Donkey, Merritt Meat Company, Round Top Antiques & Design Center and St. Cecilia’s Episcopal Church.
