Free to attend. Join the fun on Round Top’s Town Square on Saturday morning for the Quick Draw Event. A Quick Draw event is a fast-paced, live art competition where artists race against the clock to create a work of art, usually within a set time limit, typically ranging from 20 to 60 minutes. The atmosphere is lively and energetic, with spectators gathered to watch the artists in action. The event may feature different media like oil, watercolor, and pastel.
This event will feature the 12 invitational artists in one category of competition. The Open Category is designed for anyone who wants to sign up for it for $20. Participants should plan to bring their supplies and easels. Ribbons will be awarded in both the Invitational and Open Competitions.
The VIP tent will host those who have purchased VIP tickets. Visitors can watch the event, sip mimosas and coffee, and enjoy breakfast tastings.
The exhibition will be on display. All work will be for sale, and a percentage of the proceeds will support Studio Texas, a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
